James Lewis

Chief Executive Officer

HiWaveʼs CEO James Lewis joined the board of NXT in October 2009 as a non-executive director, and took up the role of Chief Executive Officer in August 2010. Previously he had co-founded Oxford Semiconductor in 1992, and set up its US subsidiary in 2000, spending several years in California. The privately funded start-up grew to a 150 person global business before Lewis left to take on a portfolio of board positions including becoming chairman of a clean-tech materials company. His background in creating and building technology companies has enabled the business model transformation, investment and rebranding that has created HiWave to commercialise the technology developed by NXT.

Chris Travis

Chief Technology Officer

HiWaveʼs CTO Chris Travis joined NXT in April 2010, and became CTO in August 2010. He was previously CTO of Audium Semiconductor prior to the acquisition of their IP and assets by NXT. His extensive background in consulting to audio and consumer product companies including Wolfson Microelectronics and TC Group, as well as his involvement in standards committees makes him the ideal technologist for leading the product roadmap development at HiWave.

Mike Davison

Chief Operating Officer

Mike is a chartered engineer who holds as BSc (Hons) in electronics and an MSc in telecommunications technology.
